Welcome

Our K-8 Co-op Program meets every week on Wednesdays from 10:30am to 3:30 pm with two different sessions available.  We teach yoga, fine arts, history, science, nature and outdoor studies.  Parents are required to stay and assist students with activities.

 

In order to keep the classes interactive, we will limit the co-op enrollment to 15 students ages 4-13 per session.  There will be 30 spots total between our morning and afternoon sessions. Our morning session runs from 10:30-12:30 and will cover yoga, fine arts, and history (LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE). Our afternoon session runs from 1:30-3:30 and covers a read aloud, outdoor studies, and science (CURRENTLY FULL). Priority will be given first to students attending all day sessions. Spots will be on a first come, first serve basis. Registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.  If students miss more than 3 classes, they will automatically be withdrawn and the spot will become available. A wait list will be created on a first come first serve basis in the event that a spot opens up throughout the school year.

• Access to our farm animals and learning about nature through our outdoor studies

• All state required subject areas taught besides Language Arts and Math

 

Our school year will kick off with our Back to School Bash on July 26th from 11:30am-1:30pm. Classes will begin on August 2nd and meet every Wednesday from 10:30am-3:30pm. All classes will meet at our Bowling Green campus. An adult is required to stay and assist students with activities. Parents will be responsible for student behavior during co-op meetings, activities, and parties.  Each family will sign a code of conduct before participating in the first co-op meeting. 

 

Bluegrass Homeschoolers Co-op is an indoor/outdoor co-op and each child will be expected to dress accordingly. Classes may only be canceled due to illness or weather related issues.  Proper notice will be given at least 1 hour in advance of cancellation through our google classroom communication page. 

 

All families are required to have a google account and check notifications regularly as this is our primary means of communication.  Parents are expected to check our co-op communication page at least once a week for announcements and supplies needed for the classes.

201 Awesome, Magical, Bizarre, & Incredible Experiments

 

*Even though we use Christian-based resources, our classes remain secular in nature

**All books and supplies will be provided for each student and is included as part of student registration fees
